Jose Azevedo

Jose Azevedo is a cyclist Portuguese born the September 19th 1973 with Vila C Cop. He is the best Portuguese runner after Joaquim Agostinho. Its broad objective of the year is to gain the Turn of Portugal.

In 1997, whereas it had the yellow jersey on the shoulders, there collapses on the stage queen of this Turn of Portugal, he will descendera until the 20th place of general classification, for him that remains a very bad memory and much of people in Portugal remembers EC event, it was in the last rise of the stage, arrival with Torre, the group had approached the rise final and Azevedo was one of the first to be cracked, but he will gain a stage later a few days!
