Joséphine Koberwein or Youzia (Joséphine) Iossifovna Koberwein was born with Biélaia Tserkhov (district of Belÿï, government of Smolensk, Russia) the May 12th 1825 and died in Nice (the Alpes-Maritimes, France) the February 23rd 1893.

Officially, Josephine Koberwein is the girl of Iossif (Joseph) Vassiévitch Koberwein, adviser of affected State to the private chancellery of its majesty and Marianne Koberwein his wife, born Marianne de Rutenskiöld. In fact, the father is the tsar Nicolas Ier of Russia.
