Jorge Campos

Jorge Campos Navarrete (known as Brody ), born the October 15th 1966 with Acapulco, is one of the Football Mexican eurs the most noticed Années 1990 in spite of average a enough gauge for a goalkeeper (1m75 for 69kg).

Surprisingly, Campos marked 35 goals for its teams, including 14 at the time of the season 1989-90 for UNAM. But since the beginning of the years 1990, since it evolves/moves with an high level, it is satisfied to be goalkeeper. From 1991 to 1995, he is elected “better goalkeeper” of the Mexico, thus making forget his glorious predecessor, Antonio Carbajal, holder of the record of participation in final stage of World cup. He was also named 3rd goal world of the year 1993 by the FIFA, and 4th goal northern and central American of the century by the IFFHS.

Campos, disputed the World cup 1994 with the Mexico, then that of 1998, garnering 129 international selections. It gained the Coupe of the Confederations in 1999, a Concacaf championship, a Cut of the Concacaf champions, a Cut of the USA, and be finalist of Copa America. It also obtained 2 selections equips FIFA with it, in 1996 and 1999.
