Jordan (Teheran)

Jordan جردن is a district of Teheran, Iran, which is located around the avenue of the same name in the north of Teheran. The Jordan avenue is located not far in the east from the Avenue Vali-ye Asr. The name of Jordan was given in homage to Samuel Jordan, which founded and directed the American College off Tehran (which will be transformed into Lycée Alborz) between 1910 and 1941. Since the revolution the avenue changed name to be called Boulevard of Africa , but the old name is always used the most.

This district is rather a rich residential district where many shopping malls are found, shops of mode, florists, restaurants, coffees and galleries of Article the Jordan avenue even became a place where young boys meet and young girls téhéranais, who benefit from the presence of the stores or the congestions which congest the zone to make knowledge discreetly.
