Jonny Wilkinson
Jonathan Peter Wilkinson , more known under the name of Jonny Wilkinson , born on May 25th, 1979 with Frimley, Surrey (England), is a player of Rugby to XV English. He plays in team of England and evolves/moves at the half station of of opening within the manpower of the Newcastle Falcons.
It was formed by Rob Andrew, old half of opening of the XV of the Rose and current general manager of the Newcastle Falcons.
In 2003, it is the showpiece of the XV of the Rose and offers the world cup to the XV of the Rose on a Drop at the last minute of the prolongation against the Wallabies. It will be named player of the year by IRB.
It is known for its eagerness with work, spending long hours to involve itself. That proves particularly effective: it holds already the record of many points marked for the team of England with 967 points. It is probable besides that it beats the world records of points held by Neil Jenkins with 1052 points, if its body allows him. Indeed, since the end of the world cup 2003 it accumulates the wounds: shoulder, right-hand man, ligament of the knee, thus not being able to help its club of always to conquer the edition 2004 of the cut of England.
Appointed captain of the team of England in October 2004, it cannot honor this distinction either. It misses 30 thus Test match S (1 169 days without the national shirt).
In 2007, it played only 43 minutes the January 27th in club when Brian Ashton selects it to begin the Tournoi from the six nations 2007.
