This village is located at the west of Rheims.

History

The October 5th 1914, above the junction point of the communes of Jonchery-sur-Vesle, Prouilly and Muizon, was held the first aerial combat with shot down plane of the world history of the military aviation, gained by the Voisin to the pilot Joseph Frantz and the observer Louis Quenault against a German Aviatik.
