Jon Spencer (born Jonhatan Spencer) is the singer of the group Jon Spencer Blues Explosion .
Jon Spencer started in the group The Honeymoon Killers before joining Pussy Galore.
In 1992, it founds with Russel Simmins and Judah Bauer the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
It also takes part in the group of his wife Cristina Martinez, Boss Hog.
Jon Spencer left an album with Matt Verta-Ray (of the group Speedball Baby) in 2005 under the name of Heavy Trash, much more Rockabilly.
Lastly, in 2006, Jon Spencer left the album The Man Who Lives for Love with the brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson, wire of the legendary musician of Memphis Jim Dickinson, under the name of Spencer Dickinson.
