Jolhimôme
the kingdom of Jolhimôme (in English Djelibeybi ) is an imaginary country of the Disc-world of the English writer Terry Pratchett.
Jolhimôme is a small kingdom sandwiched between those of Tsort and Ephèbe, which represents respectively Troy and the Greece, and their interminable war. Jolhimôme is three kilometers wide on two hundred and fifty length, along the banks of the Jolh river, in the south of the Circular Mer.
It is in this kingdom that is held the action of volume 7 of Annals of the Disc-world, Pyramides .
Jolhimôme is a Parodie of the ancient Egypt, time of the Pharaon S. One built there Pyramide S since centuries, which ruined the country and the royal family, and prevents the normal course of time in the country. One venerates there an infinite quantity of God X (see Gods of Jolhimôme).
Allusion (reversed) to the Bible: The legend tells that 7000 years ago, Kaloteh led the people of Jolhimôme through the Désert towards this country of which they took possession, just like Moïse guided the people of Israel out of Egypt towards the Palestine.
