With the play of Scrabble, a joker is a white letter to which one can assign the identity of any letter. The value of the joker is zero point. Are the jokers often written like a Question mark (?) on the sheets of mark of the players of scrabble. For example, of pulling? EOUURS one could place the words PLAYERS or HIRERS OUT with the joker representing a J or a L.
Use of the joker
In traditional Scrabble, the joker is often regarded as the most invaluable letter and certain players keep it while waiting to be able to place Scrabble or a blow of at least 50 points.
In Scrabble duplicate the presence of the joker increases in particular the probability that the players can place Scrabble. With the possibility of using the joker like any letter, pullings containing a joker are often most difficult.
Duplicate Joker
There exists a version of the play Scrabble duplicate where a joker is present in each pulling. The players withdraw the two jokers of the letters before the beginning of the part. Each pulling is composed of six letters drawn by chance and a joker. When a word is placed, the player withdraws the true letter which the joker represents and the place on the grid. If this letter is exhausted, the joker remains on the grid in the place of the letter. When the two jokers are placed on the grid, the part continues in duplicate normal.
