Johnny and the bomb is the third book of the trilogy of the Adventures of Johnny Maxwell of the writer English Terry Pratchett, appeared in France in 1997 at Atalante, translated by Patrick Couton.

Original work was published in 1996 under the title Johnny and the bomb .

Synopsis

Johnny Maxwell is 12 years old and lives in the English small town of Blackbury. His/her parents are in marital Crisis period , and often only leave it. His/her buddies are Bloblotte, which has problems of weight and pirate of the video games, Bigmac, the last skinhead of Blackbury which lives the most dreadful building of the area, Not-of man, which is black but which never says man and Kirsty, a girl too much intelligent and brilliant to have friends.

Johnny and its friends bring their assistance to Mrs. Tachyon, a SDF of Blackbury, and find themselves in 1941. They will try to change the course of the events (bombardment of Blackbury) without too chambouler the History.
