John Woo (吴宇森 in Chinese, Wú Yǔsēn in Hànyǔ pīnyīn) is a Réalisateur Chinese, born on May 1st 1946 with Guangzhou (Canton), China very early emigrated with HongKong (1953) which it left for Hollywood in 1992. One owes him in particular:

  • the Trade union of the crime , 1986;
  • The Killer , 1989, interfering western and film Chinese knighthood, revolutionizing action film;
  • a Ball in the Head , 1990, its richest work thématiquement, which tells the descent into Hell of three Chinese friends in full war of Vietnam;
  • With any test , 1992, top of art on the same topic as that of The Killer .
