John Marcum Wells (born the May 28th 1956) is a Scénariste and Producteur of American Théâtre and Télévision. It was born with Alexandria, Virginia. It is graduate of " Carnegie Mellon School off Drama" in 1979.

It is known for its roles of producer in the Televised series Urgences , New York 911 , The West Wing , China Beach , and more recently The Evidence .

He also worked on the films Doom and White Oleander . Its company, John Wells Productions, is located in the studios Warner Bros. with Burbank, California.

He is the former president of the western section of the Guilde of the writers of America .

A studio of theater to the Université Carnegie Mellon bears its name.
