John Thomson
John Thomson (1837 - 1921) is a Scottish photographer.
He is known to have traversed the East and to have brought back thousands of photographs, testimonys of the life in the provinces of Asia.
The areas which it explored:
- Canton, province of China
- Taiwan
- Kampuchea, from where it brings back images of ruins and Angkor which will make its celebrity
- London, England
