John Sandfield Macdonald

honourable the John Sandfield Macdonald , C.R. (born the December 12th 1812 and deceased on June 1st 1872) was the first Prime Minister of Ontario after the creation of the province in result of the Canadian Confédération in 1867. He was at the same time Prime Minister and public prosecutor of the Ontario of the July 15th 1867 until December 1871.

Before the Confederation, he was also member of the legislative Assemblée of the province of Canada during all his existence, that is to say of 1841 with 1867.
