John Reid

Political career

Reid is an important member of the Workers party, and in the month of May 2006, it already occupied seven ministerial positions in as many years: Secretary of State for Scotland, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (the Catholic first at this station), minister without portfolio (President of workers party), Chief of the House of Commons and President of the Privy Council.
