John Pomeroy

John Pomeroy (born in 1951 in the south of Los Angeles, California) is a stimulating étasunien.
He also worked as a producing and scenario writer.

Biography

Interested by the art for its 3 years, it has been around 1962 - 1963, then old of 11-12 years, that John Pomeroy is discovered a passion for the animation.

It creates for itself very quickly a portfolio, and on several occasions tries to enter to the studios Disney : initially at 14 years, then at 21 years.

It integrates the Riverside City College (California) then returns to Los Angeles in 1973, where it continues its studies with the Art Center School off Design .

There will remain 2 six-month periods there, before being employed by 'Disney to work on the decorations. Over there, it will meet Don Bluth and Gary Goldman , with which it will found the Don Bluth Productions .

In 1975, during their weekends, they will work with the realization of a short film: Banjo, The Woodpile Cat , which will leave 4 years later, in 1979.

J.Pomeroy will leave Disney little time to work afterwards with his/her two friends.
