John Miles (musician)

John Ashford Miles more known under the name of John Miles born John Errington , is a Chanteur and Musicien English born the April 23rd 1949 with Jarrow, Great Britain. He is guitarist and clavierist, and was known mainly for his title Music of 1976.

He was member of groups such as “The Influence” in which also played Paul Thompson, future beater of Roxy Music, and Vic Malcolm, future guitarist with Geordie, and of “The John Miles Set” before starting its career solo in 1971. During the Years 1970, it left eighteen 45 turns and four albums of which Rebel (1976), Stranger In The City (1977) and Zaragon (1978). He was more success with his 45 turns. In addition to the title Music , it also culminated in the hit parades with titles such as Highfly (1975), Remember Yesterday (1976) and Slow Down (1977). The majority of its songs were coécrites with its bass player Bob Marshall.

Miles occurred with Tina Turner, replacing with the foot raised Bryan Adams when this last could not join it for their duets. Miles is also often present vocally on the albums of Alan Parsons Project.

During the Years 1980, it continued to record discs and to occur on scene.

End of the Years 1980 until the medium of the Years 1990, John Miles was the musical director of Tina Turner on various rounds and played on some-a of its albums. He also played of the Hammond organ on the album Night Calls of Joe Cocker left in 1992. Today, it continues to compose of the music which it always regards as its “first love”.

In 2002, it left a DVD entitled John Miles - Live In Concert .
