John Kidd
John Kidd (September 10th 1775 - September 7th 1851) is a Médecin, Chimiste and British geologist .
He was born with Westminster, wire of a naval officer, and studies with Christ Church, Université of Oxford. He is in charge of teaching with Oxford in 1801 and is elected with the pulpit of chemistry in 1803. He then gives voluntarily courses of Minéralogie and Géologie followed inter alia by William Conybeare, William Buckland and Charles Daubeny. Kidd is a popular professor who by his efforts founds the pulpit of geology. Buckland is the first holder. In 1818 he becomes off member of the Royal College Physicians.
