John Casing (clarinettist)

John Wallace Casing (born the September 24th 1928 with Fort Worth, – died the March 31st 1991) was a clarinettist, saxophonist and flutist of Jazz.

Biography

John Carter played with Ornette Coleman and Charles Moffett at Fort Worth in the years 1940. From 1961, Carter resided on the West coast of the United States. where it met Bobby Bradford in 1965. He also played with Hampton Hawes and Harold Land. In the years 1970 it became famous for its extraordinary solos in concert. The New Jazz Festival of Moers in 1979 him and the German clarinettist Theo Jörgensmann played during three days.

Between 1982 and 1990 Casing composed and recorded Racines and folklore: episodes in the development of the American popular music ( Roots and Folklore: Episodes in the Development off American Folk Music") in five albums centered on the history of the Afro-Americans.
