John Carbutt innovated as regards photography accompanied by its Master George Eastman.

In 1855, Alexander Parkes invents the sheet of Celluloïd. will have to be awaited 1887 so that John Carbutt and his Master, George Eastman, markets them in the industry of the Photographie. They are then reflected to build thin rollers which were usable for the photographic emulsion. This innovation rained with Thomas Edison and its assistant which bought some for their Kinétoscope.
