John Bevan

John Charles Bevan was born the October 28th 1950 in Tylorstown (Wales). It is a former player of Rugby to XV, which played with the team of Wales of 1971 with 1973, evolving/moving at the station of three quarter wing (1,83  m for 81  kg).

Career

It disputed its first test match the January 16th 1971, against the team of England, and its last test match was against the team of Scotland, the February 3rd 1973.

Bevan disputed 14 matches (of which a test match) with the British Lions, in 1971 against the All-Blacks. At the time of this round, Bevan marked 18 tests of 14 meetings, including 11 during the first 5 matches.

In 1973 it marks one of the 3 tests of Barbarians against All Blacks.

In 1973, it left Rugby with XV to play thus Rugby with XIII, putting an end to a career of quinzist who had started brilliantly.

It will evolve/move with the club of, it and to reach the top of its career.

At the end of 13 seasons, it puts an end to its professional path. He becomes later professor of sports as a trainer of Rugby in Monmouth School.
