John Banner

John Banner (January 28th 1910 - January 28th 1973) is a Austrian Acteur . He is known for the role of the Schultz Sergeant in the televised series Stalag 13 (Hogan' S Heroes) .

Born with Vienna in a family of Jewish origin , John Banner spent a certain time in a concentration camp and was released, before the final solution is not installation by the Nazi regime.

John Banner played the part of the sergeant Schultz, sergeant of the Luftwaffe, detached with the guard of allied prisoners of war. The fear which the Russian face in the series inspires to him makes it deaf in turn, plugs even accessory to the actions of the prisoners of war.

John Banner dies of an abdominal hemorrhage the day of sound 63e birthday, in 1973. He was buried with the cemetery Mauer de Liesing, in Vienna.
