John Ball († July 15th 1381), was an English priest and an important figure of the Révolte of the peasants.

Disciple of John Wyclif, it joined Wat Tyler, attracted a great number of sectateurs while preaching against the rich person and the large ones and walked on London at their head. Decree and put in prison, it was delivered by its partisans, came with them to besiege the king Richard II in the Tour of London and forced it to deliver to the multitude the Archevêque of Canterbury and several large officers, who were massacred at once. He was taken again and carried out in 1381.
