John Allen Muhammad
John Allen Muhammad (December 31st 1960 -) is a American Tueur which prevailed in the area of Washington, D.C, killing ten people with the assistance of Lee Boyd Malvo.
John Allen Muhammad is a veteran of the war of the Gulf. This last converted with the Islam and then changed its patronym of Williams for Muhammad in April 2001. Between 1978 and 1985, it belonged to the national guards of Louisiana. It entered the army in 1985 from where it was revoked in 1994. It then joined the national guards of the Oregon. The greatest rank which it obtained was that of sergeant, before being degraded to have attacked an officer. During his military training, John Allen Muhammad did not receive formation of marksman, but it showed a great skill at the time of the drives with M-16, which was worth to him to obtain the best rank of gunner.
With young a 18 years old accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, Muhammad, old then 42 years, made thirteen attacks, which showed the death of ten people, in the three weeks space in October 2002. They killed without reference of age or race, choosing their victims randomly, generally in service stations or on carparks of shopping malls.
The latter drew starting from a Chevrolet Caprice whose Muhammad had arranged the trunk by creating an opening making it possible the gunner (Muhammad or Malvo) to lengthen inside, to locate its victim and to make fire, without being considering, and without leaving traces. Thus Muhammad located forever by any witness and any casing never was found except for one left intentionally. It had also left a chart of Tarot where it had written " I AM GOD" ( I am God ).
The weapon used was a semi-automatic rifle of mark Bushmaster AR-15 and gauge .223 - a civil version of famous M-16. Muhammad also had a sight tube as of a tripod being used to stabilize the weapon.
At the end of a few weeks, whereas the description of the car used by the killers was published by the press, the police force carried out their arrest after a truck driver had located the car on a surface of highway.
March 10th, 2004, he is condemned to death. Decision confirmed in call, it will be carried out either by electrocution, or by lethal injection.
