John-Michael Lilles

John-Michael Lilles (born the November 25th 1980 with Zionsville in the Indiana with) is a professional player of Hockey

Career in club

Lilles begins hockey in 1997 - 98 while playing in the United States Hockey League for the junior team of the United States. There remain two years there then are registered with the Université of the State of Michigan and play for their team, the Michigan State Spartans, in division Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) of the university championship. At the end of its first season, it is chosen by the Avalanche of Colorado in fifth round of the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey. Before joining the LNH, it finishes its studies. At the time of its last year, he plays some matches in the team associated with the Avalanche: the Bears de Hershey, frankness which evolves/moves in the American Ligue of hockey.

In 2003, it signs its first contract professional and joined the skating rinks of the LNH and gains its place of holder immediately. It is then indicated like one of best the recruits of the season

Since it evolves/moves with the Avalanche in spite of a one year passage in Germany for the club of Iserlohn Roosters in the championship German during the '' lockout '' 2004-05 of the LNH.

It represents the the United States with the Winter Olympics of 2006 with Turin (Italy). It also represented its country at the time of the Championnat of the world of hockey 2005 and at the time of the World cup of hockey 2004.
