Johanne Morasse

Johanne Morasse (March 12th, 1957 with Duparquet -) is a political woman Québécois. She is currently Député pequist of Rouyn-Noranda-Témiscamingue to the National Assembly of Quebec. She was elected for the first time at the election of 2007.

She is mother of six children.

Biography

Formation and career

Morasse studied it in the field of the forestry. It titular of a baccalaureat in sciences is applied of the Université Laval and a Maîtrise to the Université of the Colombia-British (1982) just as a Doctorat of the Université of Helsinki in Finland (1998), both in Foresterie.

After having worked in its field of study in Colombia-British, it returns to the Quebec to carry out in research with the Université Laval during ten years. Enne returns in its native area at the end of the Années 1990. Since this time until its arrival in policy, it is implied in many organizations of development of the area.

Political life

It decides in 2007 to present to the general election on behalf of the Parti Québécois. It demolishes accuracy (by: 129 votes) the Appointed liberal outgoing Daniel Bernard. It was about the district having had the results most tightened at the time of this election

At the time of the resignation of the chief of the Left Québécois Andre Boisclair in 2007, it had not hesitated to support the candidature of Pauline Marois.

It is it which inspired my jump in policy to me. She positively changed the living conditions of all the Québécois families by founding the nurseries to 5 $

At the time of the 38e légisature, it is spokesperson of the Parti Québécois with the National Assembly as regards natural resources and female condition.
