Johann Gottfried Bremser

Johann Gottfried Bremser is a Médecin and a Austrian parasitologist , born the August 19th 1767 with Wertheim amndt Hand and dead the August 21st 1827 with Vienna.

He studies the zoology with Iéna where he is graduate in 1792. He then starts to study medicine in Vienna. In 1806, it starts to work with the Muséum of Vienna where it becomes preserving in 1811. In 1815, it remains in Paris to continue its research.

In addition to its work on the parasites, he is the author of the one of the first treaties of Helminthologie, Bremser makes appear various publications on the Scarlatine, the Vaccine and the Rougeole.
