Johann Christian Gottlob Baumgarten
Johann Christian Gottlob Baumgarten is a Médecin and a German Botaniste , born in 1765 with Luckau, Niederlausitz and died in 1843 with Schäßburg in Transylvania (today Schäßburg in Hungary).
After studies with Dresden and Leipzig, settles in 1793 close to Siebenbürgen where it passes the remainder of its life. Without scientific formation, it then starts to study the Flore area still at the time ignored and makes appear in 1816, the first part of a flora.
