Joel Wapnick
Joel Wapnick (born in 1946 with Montreal, Canada) is a player of Canadian Scrabble . It gained the Championnat of the anglophone world of Scrabble in 1999 vis-a-vis Mark Nyman of the the United Kingdom. He was also vice-champion of the world in 1993 and 2001. He is the only player who appeared three times in the final. He is also a former champion of North America and Canada. He is classified second in Quebec with the anglophone classification.
In 1999 with the championship of the world, it gained 18 parts out of 24 to be qualified for the final in 5 handles maximum. It gained the final 3 handles with 1.
It is Professor of Musique to the Université McGill of Montreal.
