Joel Robert
Joel Robert , born the November 24th 1943 with Châtelet, is a Belgian pilot of Motocross.
One of the first legends of the motocross world begins its career on the world circuit with the handlebar from a CZ, mark with which it gains its first title in 250 cm ³ in 1964. With this title, he is then the youngest world champion of the history of the Motocross.
After two new titrates in 1968 and 1969 with the Czech mark, it joined the team Suzuki. It brings to the Japanese constructor three new consecutive titles.
At the end of its career, it had established a record of 50 victories in Grand Prix, record which will hold more than 30 years before succumbing vis-a-vis its compatriot Stefan Everts.
