Joel Muller
Joel Muller is a footballer French, born on January 2nd 1952 with Donchery in the the Ardennes.
Formed with FC Metz, of 1971 with 1978, this defender joined then OGC Nice for one season, then the Olympique Lyonese for two seasons. It finishes its career of player with Dunkirk of 1981 with 1984. It takes then the load of the training center of Football Club of Metz until December 1989, before being named with the head of the team first, which it will involve until in 2000. It involves then RC Lens of 2001 with 2005, before turning over to the FC Metz, of which he is the trainer for the season 2005-2006. At the end of the season 2006, it leaves its place to Francis De Taddeo and becomes chief technical officer of the Lorraine club .
Joel Muller will remain as one of the trainers who marked the Metz-native club. Under its orders, Garnets gain a Coupe of the League but especially pass very close to the title of Champion of France, beaten by Lens only with the difference in goal. Besides it will finish also vice-champion of France with Lens in 2002. Lastly, Joel Muller is president of UNECATEF (trade union of the French trainers) since March 2001.
