Joe Lewis

Joe Lewis is a American Fulleur, which had an exemplary career between the years 1960 and 1970 and which is regarded as one of the pioneers of the Kickboxing. He studied Shorin-ryu karate with Eizo Shimabuku, Kinjo Chinsaku and Seiyu Oyata in Okinawa, whereas he made his military service in the Marines. One decreed to him a black belt in less than 7 months. Thereafter it practiced martial arts under the influence of the founder of the Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee.

Its impressive career was worth the nickname of the " to him; Larger Karate expert of all temps".

He is also a veteran of the war of Vietnam. He reconverted then himself as an actor and made some appearances televised and with played in some films. He was married with the actress Barbara Leigh.
