Joe Dumars

Joe Dumars is a former American player of Basket-ball born the May 24th 1963 in Shreveport, in the Louisiana. Currently, he is the general manager of the Pistons of Strait, his former team.

Joe Dumars is one of the 8 players of the history of NBA who carried the shirt of their first club during more than 1000 matches. Since 2000, Joe Dumars belongs to the staff of the Pistons of which he is current General Manager. It is at the origin of several key transfers which made it possible the club to gain championship NBA in 2004 and to reach the finales in 2005.

Hardly arrived at the head of the Pistons, he sees himself obliged to transfer Grant Hill, eager to join the Orlando Magic.
