Joe Daley (born the February 20th 1943 with East Kildonan in the Manitoba) is old a professional goalkeeper of Hockey in North America.

Career in club

It starts to play hockey in 1961-62 but is not a titular player and rather often changes franknesses and from league. He will play in particular in the American Ligue of hockey (for the Hornets de Pittsburgh) but also in the Western Hockey League.

During the expansion of 1967 of the National league of hockey, it is chosen by the Penguins de Pittsburgh whereas it belonged to the Red Wings de Détroit. He does not arrive therefore being essential at Penguins and it is necessary to wait the following season so that it has a little time of play. Thereafter, it will join the Sabers of Buffalo (at the time of the Repêchage of expansion LNH 1970) then Red Wings.
In 1972-73, it joined the Worldwide association of hockey and the Jets of Winnipeg with which it will play until the end of its career in 1978-79.

Statistics of career

He will have played during his career a hundred matches in the LNH (with 6 Blanchissage S) and about 300 matches in the AMH.

After career

He was the trainer associated during one season of the club of hockey junior of England: Penticton Knights .
