Jobst de Moravie
Jobst de Moravie (or Jose), born in December 1351, dead the January 18th 1411, was margrave of Moravie of 1375 with 1411, margrave de Brandebourg of 1388 with 1411, committed duke of Luxembourg of 1388 with 1402 and of 1407 with 1411, and king of the Romans of 1410 with 1411. It was wire of Jean-Henri of Luxembourg, margrave de Moravie, and of Marguerite de Troppau.
He married in 1372 Elisabeth d' Opole (1360 † 1411), girl of Ladislas Piast, duke of Opole, and Elisabeth Bassaraba. They did not have a child.
He inherited Moravie in 1375 and he obtained, realizing finance, the duchy of Luxembourg and the margraviat of Brandebourg of his cousin the Germanic emperor Wenceslas. Having financier needs, it yielded his rights on Luxembourg in Louis of Orleans, against the sum of 100.000 ducats gold and a life annuity of 10.000 ducats. With died of Louis of Orleans, it recovered Luxembourg.
In 1410, with died of the emperor Robert Ier de Wittelsbach, he is elected king of the Romans, in competition with his cousin Sigismond. They were about to clash, when Jobst died.
