Joaquín the Cortes
Joaquín the Cortes is a Chorégraphe and a Danseur of Flamenco and Acteur born with Cordoue in Spain in 1969 within a family gipsy of Spain. Its physical beauty and its extraordinary scenic charisma do of him one of the most known dancers of flamenco.
Biography
Born in 1969 in Cordoue, Joaquín the Cortes grows in a district poor and forsaken Madrid. His/her uncle Cristobal Reyes, professional dancer, encourages it to take the route of the ballet dancing and at fifteen years it is already solo for the Spanish national Ballet with which it will have even played Metropolitan Opera House New York.He studies the dance with Madrid with El Güito, María Magdalena, Victoria Eugenia, Cristóbal Reyes or Juana Taft. He joined then the Ballet nacional of España of which he becomes first dancer.
In 1990, it undertakes a career in solo and creates shortly after its own company.
Certain scandalmongerings make of Joaquín the Cortes a character very discussed in the most orthodoxe circles of flamenco, in the direction where he show it to be able to benefit from the technological means to create environments of original settings in scene.
Joaquín the Cortes was universally recognized not only like good dancer but like an excellent creator of choreographic productions.
Since the last widening of the European Union, Joaquin the Cortes does not hesitate to defend the Romanian community in which it is originating to discuss of the situation this minority in the European Union.
