Joan Hackett
Joan Hackett , born on March 1st 1934 with East Harlem, New York, deceased the October 8th 1983 with Encino, California, is an American actress.
Biography
Of Irish and Italian origin, his/her parents educate it in the catholic faith and send it to the Catholic school, where it was not always assiduous.It starts to play in the role of Gail Prentiss in the Televised series Young Doctor Malone in 1959. It has a big role in the episode of the Fourth dimension : has Piano in the House (1962). It still obtains a big role in The Group of Sidney Lumet in 1966 with Candice Bergen, Larry Hagman, Richard Mulligan, Joanna Pettet, and others.
She is undoubtedly especially known for her role like Catherine Allen vis-a-vis Charlton Heston in Will Penny, the recluse (1968). She also plays a notable part in the comic western Support Your Local Sheriff! (1969) with James Garner.
She obtained a Golden Globe better actress in a supporting role for her role in Only When I Laugh (1981), her last film before her death.
She died of a cancer of the ovaries at 49 years; his/her two parents also died of cancers. She is buried in the crypt of the Mausoleum of the cemetery Hollywood Forever with Hollywood, California. Its epitaph presents it like a deadened beauty claiming peace: " Go Away - I' m Asleep".
