Joakim Sandgren

Joakim Sandgren (born the November 29th 1965) is a type-setter Swedish.

Biography

Sandgren was born with Stockholm where he studied the music with the Royal College of Art and Music. He then studied with IRCAM with Paris. He also followed the lesson of Magnus Lindberg, Philippe Manoury and Horacio Vaggione.

Sandgren received in 1998 and 1999 the Grand Prix of the Musical Academy of Sweden.

In 2003, it supported with the Université Paris VIII a DEA entitled Présentation partial of a data-processing environment of composition in LISP .

Sandgren composed computer-assisted since 1997. Its parts, being for the majority instrumental are however designed and composed like Musique electroacoustic. Its music since 2003 is entirely directed towards a work of the sound of the instruments, or rather the microson, that it is necessary to collect with microphones. It names for that its instrumental parts of the parts " microphoniques".

Its works were interpreted by whole like the Symphony orchestra of the Swedish Radio, Musica Vitae, Ars nova, 2e2m, Archaeus, Densité 93 etc
