Joachim Grooving plane , (born with the Mans on an unknown date - died the June 28th 1732 with Beijing) was a monk Jésuite and a missionary French of XVIIe and XVIIIe centuries.

Biography

Joachim Bouvet was one of the first six missionaries Mathématicien S that Louis XIV made leave for the China in 1685. It obtained the regard and the confidence of the emperor Kang-hi, to which it taught the Mathématiques, worked with the chart of the Chinese empire, was authorized to build a church and a residence in the enclosure of the palate, and was thus one of the founders of the French Mission with Beijing.
