Jinan

Jinan (Chinese 济南/濟南; Pinyin: Jǐnán) is the capital of the Chinese province of the Shandong. It has the administrative statute of under-provincial city. Its population was of: 1917200 inhabitants in 2001.

Jinan is the birthplace of Luo Gan, the “new number” of the Chinese Communist party.

Economy

In 2005, total GDP was of 187,6 billion Yuan S, and the GDP per capita of: 31606 yuans.

Jinan has an airport (code AITA: TNA).
