Jimmy Guieu

Jimmy Guieu is the literary pseudonym of Henri-Rene Guieu (March 19th 1926 - January 2nd 2000), writer French of Science-fiction publishing in particular in the black Fleuve. Guieu also wrote under other less known pseudonyms: Jimmy G. Quint , Claude Rostaing or Dominique Aquarius .

Jimmy Guieu writes its first novel as of the 25 years age for the editions of the black Fleuve. the pioneer of the atom was number 5 of the famous collection “Anticipation”, collection which counts today more than 2.000 titles, all confused authors.

Until 1984, it will thus publish, in the same collection, 82 novels.

During the occupation Jimmy Guieu announces itself by acts of resistance in the maquis of Dompierre-on-Yon (the Vendée, maquis SR-1). This concept of resistance, that it is against totalitarianisms, the Maffias or the bad extraterrestrial ones, will remain omnipresent in its work.

In the years 1950, it becomes one of the pioneers of the French Ufologie, with Aimé Michel.

From 1960 to 1962, it publishes four novels in Marabout junior under Claude Vauzière . In the years 1960, also, 63 of its novels will be adapted in BDs at Sidéral.

With Georges Pierquin, author of the series of the " anti-gangs" it Co-writing some novels of the collection " Espionnage" of Black River. These works are signed under the pseudonym of Jimmy G. Quint and describe the adventures of two agents of the French secret services: Serge Gallard and Roger Quilici.

From 1977 to 1984, at the rate/rhythm from one or two per annum, 10 of its books will be republished in Super collection the “luxates - found following days”.

Since 1981, “Plon” then “the Presses of the City” and today “Vaugirard” become “Vauvenargues” republish the integrality of its work in collection SF Jimmy Guieu.

From 1987 to 1990, it publishes 10 news with the “Presses of the City”, putting in scene Gilles Novak. The ten novels are gathered under the title of a series: Knights of Light.

As from 1992, Vaugirard publishes, in alternation with the republications, other news. Those put in scene Blade & Baker, businessmen of. It intervened regularly like guest on the antenna of Radio Ici and Now to approach the phenomenon of the UFOs and extraterrestrial civilizations, in particular on the thesis of the race of the " Gris" or " Small-Gris". Its passages on television were also numerous in particular in the emissions of Christophe Dechavanne.

Overcome by the disease, it leaves a last manuscript: " Ground, your civilization fout the camp".

Collection “SF Jimmy Guieu” stops with the end of the year 2003. The last numbers are written by Richard Wolfram (pseudonym of Roland C. Wagner), author also of the words of a song homage interpreted by the group Brain Damage: The Song of Jimmy

The productions of Jimmy Guieu are not limited to the writing. Between 1991 and 1994, in the collection " Doors of the futur" it is presented in the form of the creator and a director, it publishes a series of 14 documentary. If the main part of the tackled subjects relate to the extraterrestrial ones, certain mysterious topics like Rennes-the-Castle or the Vortex are also approached with the support of close relations like Guy Tarade. These documentary is for Jimmy Guieu a platform from which he criticizes GEPAN violently, SEPRA, or warns the spectator against operations of misinformation orchestrated at the planetary scales by hidden powers.
