Jiminy Cricket
Jiminy Cricket is a Personnage of fiction which appears the first time in the cartoon of Walt Disney Pinocchio , left in 1940. It is a Criquet equipped in costume and representing the clear conscience with Pinocchio. He is also a companion comic and full with wisdom which accompanies Pinocchio in its adventures.
Creation
The character was drawn by Ward Kimball. Very disappointed that the majority of the work which it had carried out on Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs were cut to the assembly, it was about to leave the Disney studio when Disney succeeds in persuading it to remain by entrusting the occasion to him to create Jiminy.
Doubling
In original version, the voice of Jiminy Cricket was in the beginning that of Cliff Edwards, which doubled the character for Disney until the years 1960. The most famous song of Jiminy, interpreted by Edwards, is ( When lucky star is requested ). After the death of Edwards, Eddie Carroll replaced it as voice of Jiminy.
After Pinocchio
After Pinocchio , Jiminy appeared in film of Walt Disney Coquin of spring . He is also the guest of several special programs of Disney.
