Jij
The Jij (Жыж, in transliteration: Žyž), according to the Belorusse tradition is the Esprit fire, which is propagated constantly on the ground by emitting flames. If it advances slowly, only the ground burns; if its movements are fast, it causes fires which consume the forests, the haymakings and the fields.
