Jeune Afrique
Jeune Afrique is a weekly magazine French devoted to the African continent .
History
1960: Creation of Jeune Afrique by Béchir Ben Yahmed with Tunis, the October 17th.
1967: Launching of the “Editions of the Jaguar”. The Jeune Afrique Group becomes editor of livres.
1971: Jeune Afrique crosses the bar of the 50.000 specimens sold by semaine.
1983: Creation of the monthly magazine Africa Magazine ( AM ): 50.000 specimens sold as of the second numéro.
1995: New formula of Jeune Afrique : in one year, the diffusion progresses of more than 20%.
1998: New formula of Africa Magazine .
1999: Number 2000: Jeune Afrique adopts a new format and a new presentation, and launches “the direction of the economy”.
2000: Monthly magazine Ecofinance , subtitle " starts again; the magazine of the economies émergentes". Interruption in 2004.

- chairman and founder: Béchir Ben Yahmed near to the royal palace in Morocco, which holds 79% of the holding Fincom (ex-Sifija), head office of the Group.
- Capital divided between “more than 600 trained shareholders of employees, of friends, readers and business partners”.
- Financing: the review, known for its critical tone, obtains each years of the thousands of Euros of subsidies of certain governments of Africa, in particular the Morocco and the Senegal.
