Jet 2

Jet 2 (Code AITA: LS ; Code ICAO: EXS ; Call sign: Channex) is a British Airline company at low cost based with Leeds in England. It is the trade name of Chanel Express (Air Services) Ltd.

History

  • 2002 : creation of the company.
  • 2003 : the February 15th, the company operates its first flight since the airport of Leeds-Bradford.
  • 2004 : Jet 2 bench a new hub with the International airport of Manchester.
  • 2005 : Dart Group PLC (owner of the company) announces that it bought two Boeing 757 -200 of New Mexorado Gas LLC in order to extend the operations Jet 2.
  • 2006: Dart Group PLC decides to gather the whole of its flying activities in the company Jet 2. The company then begins activities of Vols charters and Fret.
