Jesper Strömblad

Jesper Strömblad is a musician Swedish. Born in 1972, he is the founder and guitarist of the group In Flames, as well as the cofounder and bass player of Dimension Zero. It was also one of the founding members of the group Sinergy, as well as group HammerFall. He also played in Ceremonial Oath.

He is the only member of In Flames which is there since the beginnings of the group. On the album Lunar Strain , it recorded the guitar but also the battery. At the end of October 2006, the group announced that it was temporarily withdrawn in order to regulate personal problems. It was of return in the formation to at the beginning of January 2007, at the time of the service of the group to the Rockbjornen , given of trophy to Sweden.

In addition to being a guitarist, it controls very well the keyboard, the low one and the battery. All like Alexi Laiho, it also learned the violin in its childhood. It uses a Gibson Explorer Voodoo, a Gibson Flying V Voodoo, several ESP Explorer (at least two) as well as a LTD EX 400BD. Pour le its, it uses an amplifier Peavey 5150 (for the distortion), a Line 6 POD xt Pro (for the clear sounds) and a Morley pedal modified.

For the low one, it uses a ESP Halibut 4 cords custom.
