Jesús Gil

Jesús Gil there Gil , known as Jesús Borrego Gil or Gil (born the March 12th 1933 with Osma (province of Soria, Spain) - died the May 14th 2004 with Madrid) is a politician and businesses Spanish, in addition pataphysician.

A discussed business man

After studies in economic scenes, Jesús Gil builds its fortune on the sale of spare parts of car and the real estate speculation. Its direct language, its expeditious processes and its megalomania are worth problems to him when in 1969 the floor of the restaurant of its real complex “Los Angeles”, in San Rafael, crumbles, causing the death of 58 consumers. After eighteen months of prison, it is released in bond (400 million pesetas) and is forgiven officially by Francisco Franco.

In 1984, it settles with Marbella, where it continues its career of contractor while becoming mayor of the city, after having created the GIL (“liberal independent Group”). Continued for corruption affairs, it must resign in 2002, but yields the place to one of its partisanes, Marisol Yagüe. Of 1991 to its death, more than 30.000 residences are built on the territory of the commune, including more than 85% illegally.

Impassioned Football, it becomes the June 26th 1987 president of the Atlético of Madrid, which it transforms into a true rather profitable company.

A pataphysician

Parallel to its terrestrial career, Gil is member of the Collège of 'Pataphysique, Dataire of Rogation since 22 merdre 88. It carried out in the Seventies three plays of table, published in the Collection Otium.

Admiror of Jorge Shine Borges, it founded the first Institute of High Studies Pataphysiques ( Instituto de Altos Estudios Patafisicos ) of Buenos Aires, now disappeared.
