Jerry Unser

Jerry Unser (born the November 15th 1932 with Colorado Springs, Colorado - deceased the May 17th 1959 with Indianapolis, Indiana in an accident during the tests of the 500 Miles of Indianapolis) was an American racing driver.

Biography

Jerry Unser is the first of the three Unser brothers to have disputed the 500 Miles of Indianapolis, having made its beginnings in the test in 1958. Qualified 24e, it was crashé at the beginning. Indy 500 having belonged to the championship of the world of Formula 1 of 1950 to 1960, Jerry Unser is regarded taking into consideration official statistic of the championship of the world as a " pilot of Formula 1" , even if powerful the roadsters of Indiana had only little to see with F1 of then.
