Jerome of Vairie , sior of Vairie and Vaudelle of Bais (Mayenne), Latin and French poet, theologist, speaker and historian .
Biography
He was wire of Jerome of Vairie, sior of Vaudelle and of Transfered with the deanery of Brûlon, which had engaged in the chapter of the Mans the ground of the Boulaie in Saint-Georges-of-Wood, 1538. Joachim, brother of the poet, prisoner to the Mans in 1550, left Vaudelle to its puîné before 1560.We know only the titles of the works of Jerome of Vairie:
- translation in French of the Harangues of Thucydide and Tite-Live;
- translation in French of Roman History of Tite-Live.
He lived in 1563. When the Cross of Maine leaves its French Bibliothèque , the works of Vairie had not left yet. None of its works is referred with the National library France. All that is lost like unnamed poetries of Vairie, celebrated by Jacques Tahureau in these terms:

On the Latin poëtes be admirable;
Which of one hundred and a hundred and thousand other virtues filled,
forever been able to suffer to see its troublé
spirit these large errors which ignorance admires.
