Jerome Sydenham

Jerome Sydenham is a DJ, producer and remixor of music American Deep house.

Biography

Born from an English father and a mother jamaicaine, raised to Ibadan in Nigeria, it goes to school to England then settles in New York with beginning of the year 80 where it will become inter alia DJ resident with the Nell' S (celebrates New Yorkean club), promoter of the scene House and artistic director of the recording company Atlantic Records. In 1996, it founds its own label of music Deep house: Ibadan Records. Its music is a mixture of Deep house, electro and African acoustic sonorities.

In 2001, it leaves the album Saturday in company of one the major figures of the Deep house, Kerri Chandler. Nevertheless, it is not that in 2005 qu ' it acquires a small notoriety on a worldwide scale when the British label Defected sign its piece Sandcastles , composed with Dennis To shoe. This piece will be named in three categories with the House music Awards this year.
